Welcome! We’re so glad you want to partner with our shop. We accept consignments Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. No appointments needed.

Below are our consignment guidelines—please read carefully. We look forward to working with you and creating an amazing consignment shopping experience together!

💰 Consignor Earnings & Payments

  •  Consignors receive 50% of the final selling price, minus operating fees and sales tax.

  •  Payments can be collected in person at the store via cash or check.

  •  To view your sold items and balance, log in to your Consignor Portal using your full email address as both username and password. You may change your password after logging in.

  •  Uncollected funds after one year from the sale date will be converted to store credit, which can only be used for in-store purchases.

  •  Uncollected payments after 12 months from your last item drop-off w•ill also convert to store credit with no cash payout value.


🛒 Item Display & Selling Terms

  •  Accepted items are displayed in-store and on multiple online sales channels.

  •  A small buyer’s fee is added to each item to cover operational expenses (paid by the buyer, not the consignor).

  •  Items are listed for a minimum of 8 weeks, with price reductions following a predetermined markdown cycle.

  •  All items may be included in sales promotions or special events at our discretion.


👗 Accepted Items

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories must be:

  •  Gently used

  •  Clean and odor-free

  •  Less than 3 years old

  •  Wrinkle-free and on hangers

Household Items and Furniture must be:

  •  Clean and odor-free

  •  Free of chips, cracks, or damage

  •  In good working, ready-to-sell condition

📦 Drop-Off Guidelines

  •  Drop-off hours: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. No appointments needed.

  •  Fridays and Saturdays are Drop-N-Run only. Items not accepted during Drop-N-Run will be donated without notice. No holds.


📌 Additional Terms

  •  A $5 annual membership fee is required per consignor. This may be deducted from your sales.

  •  Items not picked up by the expiration date (provided at drop-off) become store property and will not be returned.

  •  You may collect your items up to 5 days before expiration date.

  •  Unsold items, after expiration date, may be donated to local charities such as the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.

  •  Items later found with damage (holes, stains, broken zippers, etc.) may be marked down or donated without notice.

  •  While we do our best to safeguard your items, OOTB Inc. is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft.

  •  OOTB Inc., D.B.A. Out of the Box Consignment, reserves the right to change, alter, and update these terms at any time without prior notice.
