📜 Consignor Agreement

1.     Consignor Earnings

·        Consignors will receive 50% of the last selling price of their items, less operation fees and sales tax.

2.     Payment Collection

·        Money owed can be collected in person, within one year, in the form of cash or check.

·        To view sold items and balances, visit your consignor portal: OutOfTheBoxConsignment.com → Consignor Area → Consignor Login.

·        Username and password are your full email address (password may be changed once logged in).

·        Any uncollected funds after one year of the sale date will be converted to store credit and can only be used for purchases in-store.

3.     Item Display & Selling Cycle

·        Accepted items will be displayed in-store and across multiple online sales channels for a minimum of 8 weeks.

·        Selling fees apply.

·        Prices reduce according to our predetermined markdown cycle.

4.     Item Condition

·        Items must be gently used, clean, odor-free, and less than 3 years old.

5.     Drop-Off Guidelines

·        Monday–Thursday: 11 AM – 6 PM (no appointment needed)

·        Friday & Saturday: Drop and Run only

·        “No Thank You” items from Drop and Run will be donated without notice.

6.     Item Selection

·        Our team accepts items best suited to customer preferences within our selection guidelines.

·        Your success is our success!

7.     Membership Fee

·        Each consignor pays a $5 annual membership fee.

·        Renewal may be covered by items sold.

8.     Unsold Items

·        Unsold items may be picked up on or before the expiration date (provided at drop-off).

9.     Expired Items

·        Items not collected by expiration become store-owned property and will not be returned.

10.  Donations

·        Unsold items may be donated to charities such as the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission at our discretion.

11.  Damaged Items

·        Items later found with damages (holes, tears, stains, broken zippers, chips, etc.) may be marked down or donated without notification.

12.  Safeguarding Items

·        OOTB will do its best to safeguard consignor items.

·        OOTB INC. is not responsible for damage or theft while items are in our possession.

13.  Buyer’s Fee

·        A small buyer’s fee is added to each item to cover operational expenses.

·        This fee is paid by the buyer, not the consignor.

14.  Uncollected Payments

·        Uncollected payments, after 12 months of selling date, will convert to store credit with no cash payout value.  Credit may be used only for in-store purchases.

15.  Sales & Promotions

·        All consigned items may participate in special events and promotions at our discretion.

16.  Agreement Updates

·        OOTB INCORPORATED, D.B.A. Out of the Box Consignment, reserves the right to review and update terms at any time without consent.
